All that the petitioner seeks for is an expeditious

consideration of Ext.P2 application submitted by him seeking renewal of permit.

The petitioner is the registered owner of a

stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-48-P-1004 covered with a regular permit. The validity of the permit, as extended, is up to 30.09.2021. The petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 application for renewal which is pending consideration.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider Ext.P2 application and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of two months

from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. In the wake of Covid pandemic, it shall be open for the respondent to have the application considered by
