Ext.P4 is an application preferred by the petitioner for renewal of the licence granted to the petitioner under the Kerala Forest(Regulation of Saw Mills and other Wood based Industrial units)Rules, 2012. The grievance of the petitioner in the writ petition concerns the inaction on the part of the additional fourth respondent in considering and passing orders on Ext.P4 application.

Heard the learned Senior Counsel for the

petitioner as also the learned Government Pleader.

Having regard to the facts and circumstaces of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the additional fourth respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4 application, if the same has not already been disposed of, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment, after affording the petitioner an opportunity of hearing.
