It is brought to our notice by the learned counsel for the parties, that the interim order dated 07.07.2020 in I.A.No.2 of 2020 in WP(C)No.17150 of 2019, that is impugned in this writ appeal, has become non-implementable, in view of the passage of time and the termination of the academic year to which it related. The learned counsel therefore suggest that the writ appeal can be closed, without expressing any view on the merits of the interim order, so that the writ petition itself can be taken up for consideration by the learned Single Judge, who is presently considering the Review Petition No.428 of 2019 preferred against the judgment dated 16.1.2018 in WP(C)No.16012 of 2012 as also Contempt Case No.1155 of 2019 pertaining to the same issue.

We find the suggestion of the learned counsel to be reasonable and accordingly, we close the writ appeal, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the rival contentions and direct WP(C)No.17150 of 2019 to be posted along with Review Petition No.428 of 2019 preferred against the judgment dated 16.1.2018 in WP(C)No.16012 of 2012, and Contempt Case No.1155 of 2019, before the learned Single Judge dealing with those matters.
