The Special Commissioner, Sabarimala has filed this report seeking permission of this Court for appointment of an Amicus Curiae/Advocate for assisting the Court while the reports submitted by the Special Commissioner are taken up for consideration. In the report dated 21.10.2021, it is suggested by the Special Commissioner, Sabarimala that the Advocate of the High Power Committee for implementation of Sabarimala Master Plan may be appointed as Amicus Curiae/Advocate for the Special Commissioner, while considering the reports forwarded by the Special Commissioner.

On 02.11.2021, when this report came up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel for Travancore Devaswom Board sought time to file statement. On 09.11.2021, the learned Standing Counsel for Travancore

Devaswom Board submitted that the Board has no objection in the Special Commissioner engaging an Amicus Curiae/Advocate, without any additional financial commitment to the Travancore Devaswom Board.

Heard the learned Standing Counsel for the Travancore Devaswom Board.

Having considered the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the Travancore Devaswom Board, we deem it appropriate to appoint Sri.N.Raghuraj, who is the Standing Counsel for High Power Committee for implementation of Sabarimala Master Plan, as the Amicus Curiae for the Special Commissioner, Sabarimala, without

any additional financial commitment to the Board.

S.S.C.R No.7 of 2021 is accordingly closed.
