panchayat road is constructed through the Devaswom property and the Grama Panchayat Secretary was requested to give details of the road measurement, but no reply was received. Copy of the said letter is marked as Annexure O3. Repeated letters were stated to have been given by the Special Tahsildar in this regard to the Panchayat Secretary. However, no reply was received as stated by him in his letter dated 10.03.2020. By letter dated 02.06.2020, the Special Tahsildar informed that the property was again inspected on 19.03.2020 and found that a 7 meter width and 3881/2 meter length, a tar road was constructed under the Prime Minister's Sadak Yojana Scheme by the Grama Panchayat and the remaining extent is found to have been trespassed by the local public. Though a meeting was scheduled to be held in this regard, because of the pandemic, the same could not be held. Copy of the aforesaid letter dated 02.06.2020 is marked as Annexure O4. By letter dated 01.12.2020, some follow up actions were seen done by the Special Tahsildar and fixed the date for further inspection. Now, the Special Tahsildar has filed a further report dated 18.01.2021 stating that some of the encroachers were found to be in possession of Purchase Certificates and after examining their claim, further action will be decided. Eight persons are found to be using illegal pathway constructed and after whatever that is available, the balance extent has to be taken over by the Devaswom.
