The applicant has approached this Court by

filing BA No.910/2021 in Crime No.724/2019 of

Vellikulangara Police Station, for offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC and BA No.911/2021 in Crime No.3/2020 of Mala Police

Station, Thrissur for offence punishable under Section 420 of the IPC.

The prosecution case, in brief, is that in

BA No.910/2021, the applicant dishonestly induced the de facto complainant to deliver a sum of Rs.2,60,000/- under promise of arranging Visa to

Canada and the amount was transferred to the

account of the applicant between the period 19.10.2020 and 20.10.2020, while in BA

No.911/2021, the applicant with a pretext of

arranging Visa to Canada obtained an amount of

Rs.6,50,000/- from the bank account of the de

facto complainant's father on different occasion in between 20.09.2019 and 10.10.2019. But no job or Visa as agreed was provided and neither were the amounts returned and hence the complaints were filed and the applicant is anticipating arrest.

She submits that the allegations are not

true and that she is only a house wife and she had

¶52

borrowed some money from another person in connection with a business which was run by the applicant. The business did not go well and the amount fell due.

The applicant is therefore directed to

surrender before the jurisdictional court within two weeks and apply for regular bail which shall be considered and disposed of on the very same

date.
