JUDGMENT
The petitioners have filed this writ petition under
Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari to quash Ext.P16 order dated 09.10.2012 issued by the 2nd respondent District Collector; and a writ of mandamus commanding the 2nd respondent and his subordinate officers in the Land Revenue Department to issue Patta in the name of the petitioners, in respect of 5.59 cents of land in Survey No.11/2-1 and 10 of Karavaram Village, covered by Ext.P1 gift deed, which was originally owned by their mother late Nani, based on the long and continued possession and enjoyment, and to receive land tax in respect of that property.
