JUDGMENT

The petitioner, a senior citizen is before this Court seeking a direction to the 6^th respondent to consider Ext.P2 representation submitted by him and take appropriate action.

It appears from the averments in the writ petition that the apprehension of the petitioner herein is that the transformer which has been erected by the 4^th respondent in the road purambokku in front of the house of the petitioner herein would cause danger to him. He has therefore approached the 6^th respondent and has filed a representation. He seeks expeditious disposal of the same.

The learned standing counsel submits that the transformer has already been erected as is evident from the photographs produced by the petitioner herein and the only power vested on the 6^th respondent is to adjudicate as and when resistance or obstruction is caused by any person. In the case on hand since the installation is complete, the 6^th respondent has no jurisdiction.

In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the assertions made by the learned standing counsel is not

entirely correct.

5. I have considered the submissions advanced.

made across the bar, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 6^th respondent to take up Ext.P2 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law expeditiously, at any rate, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
