The credit facilities availed by the petitioner and his wife were classified as non-performing assets and ARC initiated. The petitioner has made representation to the Bank seeking grant of One Time Settlement benefit.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the third respondent-Bank, on instructions, submits that an OTS scheme is available till 31.10.2020. It is also submitted that the request of the petitioner is under consideration and that final decision is yet to be taken.

In view of the above, I dispose of this writ petition directing the third respondent-the appropriate authority of the Bank which is to take a decision on the One Time Settlement request of the petitioner, to take a decision thereon as expeditiously as possible and at any rate on or before 16.10.2020 and communicate the same to the
