The petitioner has approached this Court seeking that respondent Nos.2 and 3 be directed to issue him necessary advice for being appointed for one of the posts of 'Kuzhal' in temples under the 2^nd respondent Cochin Devaswom Board.

The learned Standing Counsel for the Cochin Devaswom Board, Sri.K.P.Sudheer, submitted that a counter affidavit has already been filed on record by his client, wherein, they have submitted that all the available vacancies have been reported to the 3^rd respondent - Recruitment Board. He prayed that, therefore, no further orders may be issued against his client.

Sri.Nandagopal Nambiar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3^rd respondent Board, submitted that 8 vacancies had been earlier reported and that all of them were advised. He added to this by saying that on

11.09.2020 the Devaswom Board has advised two more vacancies and that if the petitioner is qualified and within the zone of appointment, necessary advice will be issued to him not later than one month.

Taking note of the afore submissions and since the petitioner submits that he is the senior most among the candidates included in the Rank list, I order this writ petition directing the 3^rd respondent to advice appropriate candidates to the two vacancies which have been now reported to them on 11.09.2020, as expeditiously as is possible, but not later than one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
