JUDGMENT

The petitioner states that she is the owner of a stage carriage bearing Reg. No. KL-13U-2545 which was covered under a permit and was valid till 21.10.2019. It is submitted that she submitted an application for renewal along with an application for condoning the delay and the same is pending. According to the petitioner, she has also submitted Ext.P6 application for temporary permit under Section 87 (1) (c) & (d) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Her prayer in this petition is for an expeditious consideration of Ext.P6.

Heard Sri. Phijo Pradeesh Philip, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Senior Government Pleader.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances and the submissions made across the bar, pending consideration of Exhibit P 4 application submitted by the petitioner for renewal, the respondent shall take up Exhibit P6 and take appropriate decision within a period of 6 weeks from the date of production of a copy of this Judgment. They shall also take up Exhibit P5 application for renewal of a permit, if the same is in order, and

finalise the same, within a further period of six weeks.
