In this proceeding seeking to quash Annexure-B First Information Report(FIR) in Crime No.795/2013 of Karipur Police Station, the learned Public Prosecutor on instruction submitted that final report was filed dropping the proceedings against the petitioner. It is seen from the statement of facts shown to me by the learned Public Prosecutor that the accused filed an application during the stage of investigation offering to pay fine for the offence alleged against him. Under the orders issued by the Chairman, DLSA, fine was collected and consequently further action was dropped in the matter.
In the result, this Crl.M.C. is closed as infructuous.
All pending interlocutory applications will stand closed.
