Contending inter alia that the directions issued by this Court in OP(KAT) No. 117 of 2020 dated 13.03.2020 have not been implemented, instant contempt case is filed.
On this day, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Government Pleader submitted that the direction issued to the Principal Secretary to consider the representation of the petitioner after verifying with the Land Revenue Commissioner has been complied with, however, there was delay. The order was passed on 29.04.2020.
Though learned counsel for the contempt petitioner submitted that the representation has not been disposed of within stipulated period and sought for initiation of proceedings under the Contempt of Court Cases Act, considering the facts and circumstances, we are not inclined to proceed further with the contempt case.
The contempt case is closed accordingly.
