This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following prayers :

“i. To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ order or direction commanding 2^nd respondent to communicate the order passed against the petitioners.

¶24

ii. To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ order or direction commanding 1^st respondent to hear the appeal on merit as and when the order passed by the 2^nd respondent is communicated to the petitioners.”

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

¶26

It is submitted that the petitioner had preferred statutory appeal before the District Collector but no orders have been passed there on. The learned Government Pleader would submit that in case no orders have been passed by the District Collector and if the appeal, as referred to in the writ petition, had actually been preferred by the petitioner and is pending before the first respondent, the issue could be considered by the first respondent. There will accordingly be a direction to the first respondent to pass

orders on the appeal within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, in the case appeal is pending consideration.
