JUDGMENT

This writ petition is filed seeking the

following reliefs:

“(i) Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ or order directing the 1^st respondent to issue Letter of Permission (LOP) to the petitioner's college for the academic year 2017-18;

¶22

(ii) Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ or order directing the 2^nd respondent to give recommendations to the 1^st respondent for issuing LOP to the petitioner's college for the academic year 2017-18 on the basis of the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in WP(C)No.825/2017;

¶23

(iii) To declare that the petitioner college is entitled to get LOP from the respondents for the academic year 2017-18 OR in the alternative to declare that petitioner College will be deemed to have the LOP.

(iv) Issue such other appropriate writs, orders or directions as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

the Central Government has decided to regularise the admission of the students admitted in the petitioner college in the academic year 2017-18 in terms of the judgment dated 22.09.2017 passed by the Apex Court in W.P.(C) No.825/2017.

3. I heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Board of governance of the 2^nd respondent.

In view of Ext.P7, it is declared that there is deemed LOP for the year 2017-18 for the College.
