The limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, when this matter was taken up, was for a direction to the second respondent to consider Ext.P15 representation preferred by the petitioners. It is seen that the request made by the petitioners in Ext.P15 is for restoration of the revoked Kerosene cards issued to them.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as also the learned Standing Counsel for Matsyafed.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to take a decision on Ext.P15 representation preferred by the petitioners, after affording them an opportunity of hearing, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
