JUDGMENT

The writ petitioner had filed a revision under Section 13A of the Kerala Survey and Boundaries Act, 1961 before the District Collector, Pathanamthitta. Ext.P6 is the revision petition. The petitioner submitted that he is the absolute owner and that he is in possession of land having an extent of 08.09 Ares in Old Survey No.714/2-B of Erathu Village. According to him, due to certain discrepancies in the survey records, the extent of the land was reduced from 08.09 Ares to 6.40 Ares. This is how the petitioner approached the District Collector in a revision under Section 13A of the Kerala Survey and Boundaries Act, 1961.

Having considered the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the District Collector to dispose the revision petition within a period of three months after notice to the petitioner and all other affected persons.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
