The prayers in this Writ Petition (Civil) are as follows:

" a) to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction to the respondents to dispose the SM No.304/2018 as evidenced by Ext.P1 within a reasonable time.

b) to issue such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the nature of this case. "

2. Heard Sri.U.K.Devidas, learned counsel appearing for

the petitioner and Sri.Saigi Jacob Palatty, learned Senior Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Taking note of the facts and circumstances disclosed in this petition, it is ordered in the interest of justice, that the Land Tribunal concerned will take reasonable measures possible under the circumstances to ensure the consideration and disposal of suo motu proceedings as S.M.No.304/2018, without much delay preferably within a period of 18 months from the date of completion of service of notice on the affected parties thereto and

after affording a reasonable opportunity of being heard to the said parties including the petitioner. The petitioner will produce a certified copy of this judgment before the Land Tribunal concerned, for necessary information and further action.
