The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the writ petition for police protection to seek appropriate remedies before the authorities for installation of appropriate sound system; within the parameters of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000. We do not make any observation, but make it clear that till the said sanction is obtained, the petitioner cannot use a sound system within the subject premises and even if sanction is obtained the use shall be within the parameters of sanction.
The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the above observation and liberty reserved as sought for.
