JUDGMENT
Vinod Chandran, J.
After hearing the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the Beverages Corporation for considerably long time, we were not convinced that we could exercise the jurisdiction under Article 226 in this Writ Appeal to issue any direction against the Beverages Corporation. The learned Single Judge has specifically noticed the rejection of the D&O Licence, and directed the petitioner to approach the Secretary for redressal, if the grievance continues, insofar as the conduct of the foreign liquor shop despite the rejection of the D&O Licence. The learned Counsel
then submitted that he would withdraw the Writ Appeal and take appropriate proceedings before the authorities. Hence, the Writ Appeal is closed as withdrawn. No costs.
