maintenance, as regards the child. The petitioner herein is the husband and his income is Rs.15,000/-. He is a Physiotherapist working on commission basis, and he is not getting any good pay. The Family Court has also held that the said version of the petitioner i.e. monthly emoluments is only Rs.15,000/per month is believable. However, the Family Court has then proceeded on the basis that both the parents are equally liable to make payment to the second respondent herein (minor son) and accordingly held that Rs.12,000/per month would be required for the child's education and other necessities and both the parties are obliged to share one half of the said amount and hence the petitioner should pay maintenance at the rate of Rs.6,000/- per month to R2 herein (minor child). The revision challenge is not in this petition the only extent whereby the order was directed him to pay maintenance at the rate of Rs.6,000/- to R2 herein. The learned counsel for the petitioner has made available certificate dated 18.03.2019 issued by Dr.Saju Varghese, Principal in charge of the St.Joseph's & St.Cycil's Higher Secondary School, West Mangad, Pazhanji, Thrissur where it is certified that Smt.Shine P. Jacob was initially appointed to the said aided Higher Secondary School on 8.8.2012 and that she was appointed to the post of Higher Secondary School teacher (History) and that her basic pay is Rs.46,900/-, Dearness Allowance is Rs.7,035/-, House Rent Allowance is Rs,1,500/- and that her Gross is Rs.55,435/-.
