seeking direction to the defendants to effect the payments of the bills. By judgment dated 30.11.1999 this Court has directed the defendants to make the payment covered by the bills within 3 months from the date of receipt of the order. It was also directed that in case of default in making the payment within the stipulated time, the plaintiff is entitled to get interest at the rate of 12% from the date of submission of the bills. The direction issued by this Court was not complied with by the defendants. Thereupon the plaintiff was constrained to file C.M.P before this Court seeking for issuance of necessary orders, directing the respondents to implement the judgment dated 30.11.1999. This Court has directed the defendants to comply with the directions in the judgment dated 30.11.1999 within 3 months from the date of the order passed in C.M.P. The defendants had complied with the direction by making the payments under the bills. They refrained from paying interest for the payments made. As per the judgment of this Court dated 30.11.1999 marked in evidence in the suit on hand as Ext.A1, the plaintiff is entitled to claim interest at the rate of 12% from the date of submission of the bills and on its basis, the claim for Rs.5,90,202/- as interest from the defendants for the period of delay in making the payment was made in the suit.
