The petitioner is the claimant in OP(MV) No.89 of 2009 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Kasaragod, a claim petition filed under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 claiming compensation, on account of the death of her husband N.C.Hariharan, in a motor accident which occurred on 15.04.2007 at Thane in Kannur District. The Tribunal passed an award for Rs.4,54,000/-, which was enhanced by this Court in Ext.P2 judgment dated 19.10.2017 in MACA No.2018 of 2013. The petitioner has already received the compensation originally awarded by the Tribunal. After Ext.P2 judgment of this Court in MACA No.2018 of 2013, the petitioner filed Ext.P3 execution petition claiming a total sum of Rs.12,04,360/-. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that though the 1st respondent insurer deposited a cheque towards the enhanced compensation awarded in MACA No.2018 of 2013, the Tribunal has returned the same, stating various reasons like amount not deposited, case bundle sent to High Court, etc. Therefore the petitioner has moved this Court, invoking the supervisory jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking an order directing
