2017 on the files of the Family Court, Attingal. Aggrieved by the

delay in the disposal of the aforesaid Original petitions, the petitioner approached this Court invoking the supervisory jurisdiction of this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India and he has sought for a direction to dispose of the aforesaid Original Petitions within a time frame.

2. On instructions, the Family Court reported that due to heavy pendency of the old cases, nine months' time is required to dispose of the aforesaid Original Petitions.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Family Court, Attingal is directed to dispose of Exts. P1 and P3 Original Petitions within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

This Original Petition is disposed of as above.
