JUDGMENT

The contempt of Court Case was filed alleging non compliance with the directions contained in Annexure A judgment. It was contended that the Drugs Controller had been issuing licenses inspite of the finding contained in Annexure A that the appropriate authority to issue licenses was the Excise Commissioner. Affidavits had been placed on record by the respondents as directed by this Court. Pursuant to orders issued by this Court, additional affidavit is also filed stating that all the licenses issued after the judgment of this Court had been cancelled by the respondent.

In the above view of the matter, I am of the opinion that nothing survives for consideration in the Contempt of Court Case. The statements in the affidavit is recorded. The Contempt of Court Case is closed.
