However, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the Investigating Officer within 10 working days. If the petitioners surrender before the Investigating Officer on any day before 9 a.m., within 10 working days as directed above, the Investigating Officer shall interrogate the petitioners, and thereafter, produce the petitioners before the jurisdictional Magistrate on the same day. If the petitioners file any application for regular bail on their production before the Jurisdictional Magistrate, the learned Magistrate shall consider and dispose of the application for bail, in accordance with law, on the date of surrender itself.

Needless to state that the Investigating Officer shall consider the documents which may be produced by the petitioners, as part of the investigation.
