The petitioners are accused Nos. 2 to 4 and 5 in Crime

¶39

No. 421 of 2019 of Anthikkad Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 447

and 427 read with Section 149 IPC and Section 3 read with

¶41

Section 5 of the Explosive Substances Act.

¶42

The petitioners were arrested on 23.07.2019 and

¶43

ever since they have been in custody.

¶44

Heard.

¶45

It appears that the major part of the investigation

¶46

as regards the petitioners is almost complete. The learned

¶47

Public Prosecutor has submitted that a counter case was

¶48

also registered in connection with the incident in this case.

¶49

It appears that both sides exchanged blows. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, including the stage of

investigation and also the period of detention of the petitioners, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

In the result, these applications stand allowed and the petitioners shall be enlarged on bail on condition of each of the petitioners executing a bond for Rs.40,000/-(Rupees forty thousand only) each, with two solvent sureties each, each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the Jurisdictional Magistrate and subject to the following conditions:

(i) The petitioners shall report before the Investigating Officer on every Saturday

between 9.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. for three

¶56

months and thereafter, as and when required by the Investigating Officer for interrogation.

(ii) The petitioners shall not intimidate or influence the witnesses or in any way tamper with the investigation.
