Through a detailed order passed by this court on

05.11.2018, it was found that the alleged detenue is not

¶31

under any illegal confinement and that this writ petition is

¶32

liable to be dismissed. However, the case was adjourned

¶33

for production and recording of the marriage proposed between

¶34

the alleged detenue and the 5^th respondent.

¶35

Today, when the case is taken up for consideration,

¶36

the 5^th respondent as well as the alleged detenue are personally

¶37

present before this court. They have produced a 'certificate of marriage' issued by the Marriage Officer, Chelakkara, dated

14.11.2018. It is evident that a marriage under Section 13 of the Special Marriage Act, 1954 was solemnized between the 5^th respondent and the alleged detenue on 14.11.2018.

Under the above mentioned circumstances, this writ petition is closed by recording the valid marriage solemnized between the 5^th respondent and the alleged detenue, and by confirming the earlier order as absolute.
