Petitioners claim to be the employees/former

¶72

employees of Sree Thrippallavur Siva Temple. According to them, on account of a ceiling fixed with regard to the income of the Temple, the Temple is not getting financial assistance for payment of salary. Petitioners submit that employees of Temple where income is less than Rs.10,000/-, financial assistance is given from the management fund of the Malabar Devaswom Board. But, in their case, only because the income happened to be about Rs.10 lakhs, they are not being paid salary. According to them, this is on account of the discriminatory treatment met out to them. Petitioners have therefore submitted Ext.P7 representation before the second respondent.

petitioners submit that the petitioners would be satisfied with a direction to the second respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P7 representation.

In view of the above circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P7 representation, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the representative of the petitioners, within a period of 'three months' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
