JUDGMENT
The petitioner, who is rank No.3 in Ext.P1 rank list for the
post of Junior Clerk in the 3rd respondent Society, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the 2nd respondent
Bank to issue advice memo/appointment order for appointing the next eligible candidate in Ext.P1 rank list to the post of Junior Clerk, against the post lying vacant in the 3rd respondent Society. The petitioner has also sought for a writ of mandamus commanding the 2nd respondent to issue advice memo/appointment order for appointing the petitioner as Junior Clerk, against the post lying vacant in the 3rd respondent Society, in the event of the 4th respondent relinquishing his right to appointment to the above post from Ext.P1 rank list.
