The prayers in this writ petition (civil) are as

“i. issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writs, directions or orders directing the respondent to consider and pass final orders on the application for purchase certificate submitted by petitioner which is pending as SM.457/2017 on the files of the respondent as expeditiously as possible or at any event within a period of six months;

ii. render such other orders as are deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.”

interest of justice that the Land Tribunal, Ottappalam, will take all reasonable measures to ensure the consideration and disposal of suo motu proceedings involved in this case, viz., S.M.No.457 of 2017 without much delay, preferably within an outer time limit of ten months from the date of completion of service of notice on all the affected parties thereto and after affording a reasonable opportunity of being heard to all such parties.

4. The petitioner may produce a certified copy of this judgment before the Land Tribunal concerned for necessary information and further action.
