J U D G M E N T
The petitioner, a borrower, questions the recovery proceedings initiated by the respondent Bank. Now, the petitioner's counsel has produced a letter dated 23rd March, 2018, said to have been issued by the respondent Bank. It reads
as follows:
"We hereby inform you that your request for OTS has been accepted and the account has been settled on 22.03.2018 by accepting Rs.16.00 Lakhs from Mr.Vincent Joseph, guarantor of the loan. Since the Account is settled, we will be forwarding petition for withdrawing the DRC proceedings and for release of title deeds from DRT at the earliest.
I, therefore, close the writ petition as having become
infructuous.
