According to the petitioners, they are in possession of 22.5137 hectares of land comprised in R.S.No.88/1A & A1 of Thirunelvely village, Mananthavady Taluk, Wayand revenue district and that said lands are situated contiguously. That the lands are exempted from ceiling by the Taluk Land Board under Sec.81 of the Kerala Land Reforms Act, 1963, as it was coffee plantations. That the lands are yielding coffee plantations and that Exst.P-1 and P-2 are said to be title deeds in respect of the said lands. It is further stated that the petitioners are paying land tax regularly as evidenced Exts.P-3 and P- 4 land tax receipts. Exts.P-5 and P-6 are said to be the possession certificates in respect of the abovesaid properties. It is further averred that the petitioners had planted silver oak trees for proper shades in the coffee plantations and that the said trees have overgrown and excessive shades will cause damages to the yield and therefore, the petitioners had approached the competent officers of the Coffee Board, Mananthavady, who after inspection by their competent officials, had issued a technical advice as per Ext.P-7 dated 1.12.2107, wherein it has been a total of 1400 silver oak trees have to be cut and
