This Writ Appeal is posted before us pursuant to the order dated 30.11.2017 of the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.5560 of 2012. As per the order, the Supreme Court has directed us to hear and dispose of the Writ Appeal as well as the Original Petition from which this appeal arises within a period of six months. The order appears to have been passed on the basis of a submission made before the Court that the Writ Petition was also pending. This Writ Appeal is filed against an interim order passed in the Writ Petition on 26.10.2007. We notice that, as per judgment dated 17.10.2016, a learned Single Judge of this Court has dismissed W.P.(C) No.12098 of 2006 along with a connected Writ Petition, W.P.(C) No.13048 of 2007 on the basis of the submission made by the counsel appearing for the petitioners therein that the matters had
