The writ petitioners are the appellants before us. The writ petition was filed by players of Roll Ball game, for consideration of their selection in the Kerala State School Team for participation in the 63rd National School Games held in December, 2017. It was contended by the petitioners that they have been prevented from participation in the National School Games, whereas the Kerala State Team had participated in such school games in the previous five years.
