Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C.

2.The petitioner is the accused in CC No.1555 of 2008 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Cherthala. She prays that respondents 2 & 3 police officers may be directed to serve the summons/execute warrants of the witnesses in the case and the learned magistrate may be directed to dispose of the case without further delay.

3.After hearing both sides, I am satisfied that the prayers are reasonable. There has been inordinate delay in disposing of the case in the trial court. The second respondent shall ensure that summons is served or arrest warrant is executed so far as the witnesses are concerned, who are mainly police officers. The trial court shall dispose of the case without further delay.

With these directions, the Crl.M.C. is disposed of.
