search of his wife and daughter. His son himself told PW2 that the accused was calling from Pala. After seeing the dead body of Lovely, PW2 deposes that the dead body of Manumol was located 1½ hours thereafter. He proceeded to that place also. The body was lying in the water channel. That was also in a decomposed state. According to him, both the death was on account of homicide. He also deposed the accused was not seen worried in any manner and he did not show any anxiety when the accused informed him that his wife and daughter were not seen. Further evidence indicates that accused had pledged his television for an amount of 1,000/- on 15/11/2009. According to PW2, he had gone with the said money to Pala and purchased lottery tickets for 500/-. He further deposed that the accused came on 17/11/2009, by around 6 p.m, at the time when the dead bodywas being taken in an ambulance. He was not even willing to look at the dead body.
