JUDGMENT

This contempt case is filed by the petitioner complaining that the directives contained in the judgment in W.P.(C)No.35880 of 2017 dated 9.11.2017 is not complied with by the respondent.

Today when the matter is taken up, learned Counsel for the respondent submitted that except the amounts retained in order to pay over the same to the co-operative societies and others, in accordance with the requisitions made, all other amounts are released to the petitioner. At this point of time, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that leaving open to make a claim on such amounts, the contempt case may be closed. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed leaving open the liberty to the petitioner to approach the statutory authority seeking any claim over the amounts so retained.
