J U D G M E N T
The petitioner is the former President of a Grama Panchayat. His grievance in the writ petition concerns the poor condition of a road in the Panchayat. It is stated by the petitioner that though the Government has accorded sanction to renovate the road, action has not been taken by the appropriate authorities. The petitioner addressed a representation in this connection before the Chief Minister of the State. It is stated by the petitioner that a copy of the said representation was forwarded to the second respondent as well. The limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, when this matter was taken up for admission, is for a direction to the second respondent to take a decision on Ext.P4 representation, within a time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the second respondent to take a decision on Ext.P4 representation, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Ordered accordingly.
