J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is aggrieved with Ext.P1 order passed

in an appeal, against the evaluation in a competition held in Kuchippudy. The petitioner participated in two events, Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudy. The petitioner obtained only 2^nd prize in Kuchipudy. An appeal was filed in both the cases. In Bharathanatyam the appeal was allowed and in Kuchipudy, it was rejected. The contention raised by the petitioner is that the appeal was rejected by a single line order.

I dont see any scope for detailed consideration

since it is after all only a consideration of whether the performance of one person was better than the other. In fine arts, there need not be an elaborate written order explaining the nuances of the movements of each participant. Yet again the petitioner admits her poor performance and blames it on the stage & sound system. The other participants also would have encountered the very same problems. She admits that her performance was poor but ascribes it to the poor sound
