One of the objections that was raised in these proceedings was as to the jurisdiction of Uplokayukta/Lokayukta to deal with these matters. At the Bar it is submitted that considering the aforesaid objection, the proceedings before the Lokayukta as complaint No.1121 of 2016 has since been withdrawn. As a consequence thereof, W.P.(C) Nos. 36083 of 2016, 38204 of 2016 and 6592 of 2017 have become infructuous and are disposed of as such.
