The petitioner has approached this Court aggrieved by the recovery steps initiated by the respondent bank for recovery of defaulted loan amounts. When the matter was taken up today, it was noticed that the petitioner was already granted a stay against recovery proceedings on condition that the petitioner paid an amount of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs only) on or before 16.10.2017. It is not in dispute that the petitioner has not effectively complied with the direction in the interim order dated 10.10.2017. Under the said circumstances, I am of the view that the petitioner is not entitled to any discretionary relief from this Court in these proceedings under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The writ petition fails, and is accordingly dismissed.
