Ext.P4 series are the representations preferred by

petitioners 1 to 3 before the third respondent seeking expeditious disposal of the applications preferred for effecting mutation based on the documents referred to therein. The limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, when this matter was taken up for admission, is for a direction to the third respondent to take a decision on the applications for effecting mutation referred to in Ext.P4, within the time limit prescribed by the Government as per Ext.P5 circular.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as also the learned Government Pleader.

It is seen that by Ext.P5 circular, the Government has directed that applications for effecting mutation
