The prayer in this writ petition are as follows:

Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to re-evaluate the answer sheets of the petitioners who appeared for the examination of 1^st year MA Economics 2016 July under the 4^th respondent.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and

the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent University.

The Standing Counsel has placed on record a statement stating that as per the University Regulation, the revaluation of answer paper shall not be permitted in respect of examinations for which there is provision for double valuation.

In the above view of the matter, I am of the opinion that no directions can be issued in this writ petition. In the result, the writ petition fails and the same is accordingly dismissed.
