JUDGMENT

When this matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner confines his prayer that Exhibit P3 representation pending before the respondents be directed to be disposed of. He says that this will cause no prejudice to any of the parties since all that he is pleading for is a one time settlement of the loan.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner Mr.S. Mohammed Al Rafi and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents.

Since I do not see any legal impediment in the second respondent considering Exhibit P3 and passing orders thereon and I think that a decision on Exhibit P3 would perhaps facilitate a settlement of the loan itself, I deem it appropriate that the second respondent be directed to consider it.

In such circumstances, I direct the second respondent to take up Exhibit P3 application made by the petitioner, consider it and dispose of in terms of law, after affording her an opportunity of

being heard, as expeditiously as possible, but not later than one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
