J U D G M E N T
The prayers in this writ petition are as follows:
“i. To declare that the decision of the 2nd respondent to send the petitioners back to earlier posts from the present posts of Overseer Gr.I (Electrical) is ultra vires his powers and violative of fundamental rights guaranteed to the petitioners under Articles 14, 16, 19(1)(g) and 21 of the Constitution.
ii. To call for the records leading upto Ext.P4 and quash the same by issuing a writ of certiorari or any other writ, order or direction.
iii. To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction commanding the respondents to continue the petitioners in the posts Overseer Gr.I (Electrical) in terms of Ext.P3 decision of the Executive Committee of the 1st respondent University.”
and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, University.
