The petitioner, having purchased immovable property from the fourth respondent's mother, now complains that he faces threat to his life from the fourth and fifth respondents. He seeks police protection.

In these circumstances we make it clear that either of the parties in the writ petition are at liberty to approach the police if at all they face any criminal act aimed at them. With the above observation, we close the writ petition.
