J U D G M E N T

The limited prayer of the petitioner at this stage is for a direction to the 2^nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P8 representation preferred by the petitioner for regularisation of a construction in respect of which he had obtained building permit.

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel for the respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 2^nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P8 representation, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment, after hearing the petitioner. The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgement, together with a copy of the writ petition before the 2^nd respondent for further action.
