The petitioners herein are the petitioners in R.C.P. Nos.105/2015 and 106/2015 on the files of the Rent Control Court, Ernakulam.

According to the petitioners, they are senior citizens suffering from various old age diseases and they are in urgent need of the plaint schedule building in both R.C.Ps. But, the trial of the cases is being delayed, at the instance of the respondent. This is the grievance of the petitioners.

Though, several old matters are pending before the Rent Control Court, having regard to the fact that the petitioners are senior citizens, we are inclined to give some priority to them.

In the above view, the Rent Control Court is directed to dispose the aforesaid Rent Control Petitions at the earliest - at any rate, within a period

O.P.(R.C.) Nos. 63 & 64 of 2017 -: 2 :-

of five months from today.
