The petitioner challenges Ext.P6, an order dated 26.11.2014 in EA.No.91/2014 in EP.No.53/2011 in OP.No.994/1997. The application is filed by the petitioner for releasing attachment in respect of 10 cents of property comprising of 5 cents in Sy.No. 1853/1 and 5 cents in Sy.No.1853/2 of Muttathara village. According to the petitioner, the original petition was filed by the wife and two minor children seeking maintenance. They have already been separated by a decree for divorce. There was a direction to pay maintenance to the minor children. It is now submitted that the minors have become major and the second respondent is already given in marriage. The third respondent has some medical problems which is being attended to by the petitioner and even after she becoming a major, maintenance is being paid to her. According to the petitioner, two items of properties were also under attachment, one is having an extent of 8 cents along with a building thereon where the petitioner is residing. The other property is having an extent of 10 cents for which the attachment is still in force and on account of the change in circumstances and the fact that there would not be further liability on the petitioner, he sought for vacating the attachment.
